Yes, you found her. The No BS Realtor. And yes, she sells a house every 1.3 days.
Leigh is a native of Cabarrus County who grew up in and around residential real estate! She joined her father, Darrell Thomas, in the business in 2000. Leigh believes strongly in building lasting client relationships, and as a result, over 70% of her business is referrals from current and past clients or from other top Realtors nationwide. Leigh is also a strong believer in continuing education. She is a member of several real estate networks, including CRS (Council of Residential Specialists), CyberStars (top 240 agents nationally) and StarPower. Leigh is also a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
She has attained several designations-which is proof of her belief in ongoing and higher education. ABR is the Accredited Buyer Representative designation, which is earned by completing education and by working with buyers on an exclusive representation basis. CRS is the Certified Residential Specialist designation, which is earned by achieving a high level of closed transactions (EXPERIENCE!) on a consistent basis in addition to completing several extensive classes. CLHMS is the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation, earned by completing education and by working extensively in the luxury home arena. She has the knowledge and expertise to sell your home, or help you locate the perfect home as well. Leigh completed the intensive Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) training to help families in financial distress find options to foreclosure-specifically, the short sale option. The SFR, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation, also provided additional education on helping families through the short sale experience. Her ecoBroker training provided in-depth knowledge of the Green movement in real estate and in building, as consumers learn more about Green building options. The ePro designation was achieved through demonstration of superior technology skills, as related to real estate. Five Star is a prestigious designation awarded to real estate agents who demonstrate expertise and professionalism to the REO (real estate owned, or Foreclosure) industry. Leigh believes strongly in representing foreclosure properties as accurately as traditional resale properties. Leigh has earned the SRES, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, designation, which is extensive training regarding the best practices for helping Seniors navigate a quickly changing real estate market. In 2014, Leigh added two more designations to her credentials. She took an extensive course schedule to complete the education for the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) as a way to better respond to the growing pool of international buyers and sellers in the Charlotte market. Leigh is also a member of the MilRES network, the designation that provided Leigh with extensive information on assisting active duty military, veterans, and their families. Finally, Leigh was inducted in the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2014.
Leigh and her husband, Steve, live in Harrisburg with their two children and three cats. In her (rare) free time, Leigh enjoys working with the children at her church, Mallard Creek Presbyterian, singing, and playing piano.
Leigh published her SECOND book this past summer!

Working as Wanda Holsclaw’s Showing Partner, I have a blast helping people find the home that is ideal for their situation. As a former Registered Veterinary Technician, I have the innate ability to nurture and guide my clients. Their needs and concerns are my number one priority.
I’m an avid equestrian and am proud to say that I was “raised in a barn” having grown up in Cedar Square (a dairy farm district in Randolph County, North Carolina). Most of my free time is spent riding my horse, reading, or enjoying the outdoors with my family which includes my husband, James, and our two children, Vivian and Colton.

Spending time with my clients to best understand what is in their best interest is fun for me. I enjoy showing off the real estate in the Queen City and all of her surrounding communities – it is where I have lived since 1994 and I love it! I have over 20 years’ experience in real estate and new construction and have been told that I am a savvy, skilled negotiator. Wanna put me to the test?
I am an avid dog lover and am partial to my sweet rescue pup, Chili. My husband, Bill, and I live in the great community of Harrisburg. We have one partially grown son, Noah, who is currently in college.

I have lived in the Queen City for almost 30 years – time flies when you are having fun! Initially “city life” was an adjustment, having grown up on a farm. Looking back, I cannot imagine living anywhere else. I obtained my NC and SC broker licenses in 2000 and I have extensive experience and knowledge in both new home sales and resales. Both have given me invaluable insight into the home selling process. Every client deserves my best effort and I approach each transaction with a genuine desire to help others accomplish their goals.
When not working, I spend time with my husband and two (grown) children, plus my sweet Pomeranian, Lacy. I believe strongly in giving back to my community, therefore, I volunteer regularly for Samaritan’s Purse, Friendship Trays, and Habitat for Humanity.

With the love and support of my wonderful husband, Jonathan, I have been a full-time Realtor for 13 years. I joined the team in 2010 and haven’t looked back. I am passionate about educating buyers and sellers on the Leigh Brown Experience and I feel that every transaction should receive the best service imaginable.
When I am not in the office I can be seen running around town or cooking up a good meal to distract me from our newly empty nest (it really is an adjustment). I am one of those elusive NC natives; the few and the proud!

I joined the team in the Fall of 2010 and have loved every minute of it! As the Client Care Manager, I am the go-to person when it comes to coordinating the closings for our clients. I also work closely with our bank partners to ensure smooth short sale transactions. It is my goal to make our client’s purchasing/selling process seamless!
My son, Nathan, and I live right in the heart of friendly Harrisburg, NC. We have a frisky pup (who wants to remain anonymous) and spend football season rooting for the Panthers!
I was raised in Rock Hill, SC where I attended York Technical College and received my Associate’s Degree in Business Management. My experience includes working in property management and most recently, new home construction. This is where I learned the ins and outs of real estate and I loved it from the start!
Indian Trail is where I call “home”. My husband, Josh, and I enjoy playing with our cat, Zoey, and pooch, Duke. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and I am thrilled to be a part of a team that focuses on making other people’s dreams come true.
Born and raised in the Queen City, I am proud to say I am a TRUE Charlotte native! I attended UNC-Asheville and found that my Bachelor of Arts degree was supplemented by the fact that I excel at building relationships. Having grown in up in a real estate family, I have a true understanding on how the sale and purchase of a home can impact someone’s life and I wanted to be a part of that! I am thrilled to be working alongside my mother, Denise, as well as working as a Judicial Sales Associates for a law firm in South Charlotte where I coordinate the sale of real and personal property from estates, guardianships, and partitions. This experience has provided me with a unique skillset in which I am able to assist people who find themselves in difficult or complicated real estate situations.
When not spending quality time with my overly emotional (and attached) dog, I can often be found acting as a free mechanic to my friends or filling up my Amazon cart with random things.
Born and raised in the great state of New York, I never thought I would leave. But then, my parents moved South and my family and I quickly followed! I have enjoyed living in Charlotte since 2014. My avid interest in real estate is what enticed me to come work with Leigh Brown & Associates and I have thoroughly enjoyed being the Quality Control Manager & Event Coordinator for the team.
Exploring Charlotte with my family fills my free time, as does spending time teaching children at our church, cooking, and reading.
